We hold seminars at our beautiful location on Newstead Farm near Charlottesville, Virginia.  Seminars cover all three phases of the Schutzhund sport.  Visitors are always welcome, and welcome to ask questions.  If you're interested in schutzhund training, or just curious, send us an e-mail and come visit.

Typical Weekend Schedule
Saturday Sunday
9:00Obedience
12:00Protection
7:00Dinner at Guesthouse
9:00Tracking (location TBA)
11:00Protection — Handlers with long drives work early if they wish

The schedule changes according to the weather and time of year.  We may start training much earlier in hot weather and work protection after the heat of the day.  If conditions are poor we may not train some phases at the discretion of the training director.

The Rivanna River is only a few hundred yards from the training field so that dogs, and handlers, can swim to cool off during the hot weather.  We also have an area accessible to most vehicles which is shaded all day.

Handlers and guests are welcome to join us at our guesthouse after training for food, fellowship, and dog talk.  There is a nominal charge to cover the cost of food, and beverage contributions are appreciated.
